The Prosperity Index is published by Legatum Institute on an annual basis. It assesses countries efforts in advancing their citizens’ wellbeing across 9 pillars; Economic Quality, Business Environment, Governance, Education, Health, Safety and Security, Personal Freedom, Social Capital and the Natural Environment. Within the nine pillars there are 33 sub-pillars and 104 variables (54 hard data, 38 soft data and 12 index).
